Copyright and Licensing
The copyright of all articles published in IIARP journals is retained by the authors. All articles are open access, hence visitors to the website may read and download published articles free of charge. In the same vein, the articles may be reused provided that the authors and publisher are properly cited. By submitting an article to any of the IIARP Journals, the author(s) have transferred the licence to publish to IIARP, except on the grounds of the rejection of the article. In that case, the author can correct and resubmit it to another journal.
Permissions for Re-Use of other Work
It is important for authors to obtain permission before including previously published material in their articles. All authors must ensure they comply with the article publishing guidelines, especially that the submitted article is their original work and to obtain permission from authors and publishers before any copyrighted material can be re-used. Authors are responsible for any copyright infringement and loses. Neither IIARP nor its employees and editors can be sued in the event of any copyright infringement and loses. The authors are completely responsible. By publishing with any of the IIARP Journals, the author(s) agree to indemnify and hold IIARP, its employees and editors/reviewers harmless against any claim, action, or proceeding claiming facts that constitute copyright violation. In the event of such claims, actions or proceedings, the author(s) also holds IIARP harmless against any expenses he(they) may incur in defense against each claim, action, or proceeding.
Author Rights
Authors retain certain rights after their articles have been accepted and published. These include the following: The abstract can be published in a book of Abstracts or presented at conferences; The pdf of the article can be shared to friends or colleagues, provided it is not sold in the process; The pdf can also be deposited in academic websites such as Research Gate, Google Scholar, etc. or institutional repositories; The pdf can be used for training or teaching purposes or for the application for grants.
